How do I get to my accommodation in Nice on arrival

I have chosen to arrive by air

On arrival at the airport, you have a wide choice of transport to get to your apartment:

The tram – The best value: Line 2 will depart from terminals 1 & 2, serving the entire seafront side of the city, from the airport to Nice Port, in 25 minutes. All stations pass through Fabron, Grosso & Gambetta for the Flowers district, Alsace Lorraine and Jean Médecin for the Musicians, Gold or Masséna districts, the Pine district and finally the Port district.
A connection with line 1 is at JEAN MÉDECIN Station.
A connection with line 3 is at GRAND ARÉNAS Station.

Taxis: The most direct: They are available at each terminal 1 & 2. 15 minutes will be enough to drop you off directly at your apartment. There is an official fixed rate that must be applied + baggage charges. Make sure you enquire and specify this to the driver; he cannot refuse you. Normally, payment is by credit card.

The bus: The airport shuttle (bus 98) is both affordable and convenient. It runs every twenty minutes during the day and will drop you off in the centre, near Nice Thiers Station.

I have chosen to arrive by train

The tram – The best value: To get to line no. 1, exit on the left of the station and head down Avenue Thiers to Avenue Jean Médecin (it is indicated by signage). Trams run every five minutes and the ticket is inexpensive. Line 1 serves the centre and the two northern districts of Nice.
A connection with line 3 is at GRAND ARÉNAS Station.
A connection with Line 2 (Airport / Port) is at JEAN MÉDECIN Station.

Taxis: The most direct option: 15 minutes will be enough to drop you off directly at your apartment. There is no fixed rate. The driver must compulsorily activate their meter before leaving the station. You will only have to pay the fare shown on arrival + the baggage fee. Make sure to enquire and specify this to the driver; they cannot refuse you. Normally, payment is by credit card.
Don't forget to have the complete address ready to give to the driver.

I have chosen to arrive by car

There is always a public car park close to your place of residence. The rates are:

It may be more advantageous to pay for a week rather than by the day for stays of more than 4 days, and so on. Check the tariff schedule at the car park entrance or go to the security office as soon as you are parked.
